The Onion Palace Museum is located in the historic center of Rome on Via del Corso, which connects two of Rome's most famous squares, Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Venezia. Since its foundation in 1999, the Museum of the Terzo Pilastro Foundation - based in Rome on the central Via del Corso - has collaborated with the most prestigious Italian and international museums, including, for the exhibitions already held, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the State Museum of St. Petersburg, the Pushkin Museum and the Kremlin Museum in Moscow, the Louvre Museum in Paris, the Palace Museum in Beijing, the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin, the Academy of Arts in Honolulu, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
