Padua Educational Museum of Veterinary Medicine

The Educational Museum of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Padua is located on the ground floor of the premises of the homonymous building overlooking the Pentagon on the Agripolis campus in the municipality of Legnaro (PD), an integral part of the structures of the recent establishment of the University of Padua. The Museum consists of bone finds, collections and preparations of domestic and wild, normal and pathological animals. Although, among all the Museums of the University of Padua, the Educational Museum of Veterinary Medicine is the most recent one, its collections are numerically and qualitatively relevant. The Museum is a window on the world of vertebrates, each with its own characteristics of size, structure and adaptations of the colonized environment. Today the Museum is part of the BCA Department (Comparative Biomedicine and Nutrition) and represents a valid teaching tool for the students of the Agripolis Campus and is increasingly becoming a point of reference in the area for schools, researchers, enthusiasts and simply curious. .
