The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is the premier contemporary art gallery in Glasgow, Scotland.
The gallery, which looks like a neoclassical building, was inaugurated in 1996 and since then has offered an eclectic program of temporary exhibitions and workshops. Works by both local and international artists are exhibited.
The Goma's exhibitions include works by the likes of Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Sebastião Salgado along with Scottish artists such as John Bellany and Ken Currie.
Outside the building, you can see the mirrored pediment of the artist Niki de Saint Phalle entitled Tympanum (1996). Saint Phalle also installed the mirrored vestibule of the gallery.
Just in front of the gallery, on the Queen Street sidewalk, stands an equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington sculpted by Carlo Marochetti in 1844.
